What is joint pain?
A joint is the area where two bones meet. Joint pain is the discomfort coming from
that area. Joint pain can be anywhere from a mild uncomfortable pain to a severe debilitating pain.
What causes joint pain?
There are many possible causes for joint pain. Some causes of joint pain include:
- Arthritis
- Cancer
- Broken bone
- Dislocation
- Lupus
- Lyme Disease
- Ostepoporosis
- Ricketts
- Injury affecting any of the ligaments, bursae, or tendons surrounding or within the joint.
Where can joint pain occur?
Joint pain can occur in any joint, but may include:
- Elbow

- Hand
- Shoulder
- Knees
- Ankles
- Feet
- Neck
What are the treatment options for joint pain?
Treatments for joint pain depend on the cause of the joint pain. However, the joint pain treatments may include the following:
