About Southeast Pain & Spine Care
Southeast Pain and Spine Care was founded in 1997 and has since grown rapidly, currently operating a network of 15 pain management clinics serving more than 85,000 patients each year throughout the region. Our pain management doctors are all double board certified or board eligible in pain management and are also fellowship trained in pain management.
Southeast Pain and Spine Care operates an independently owned facility in Virginia but is also committed to working with our hospital partners, Atrium Health, UNC Health Blue Ridge, and Piedmont Medical Center in providing excellent care and services at the North Carolina and South Carolina locations.
Partners in Excellence
In May 2020 Southeast Pain and Spine Care, a division of American Anesthesiology of NC, became part of North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA). Southeast Pain and Spine Care is now a part of a nationwide network of over 6,000 clinicians, at more than 500 facilities in 20 states, serving over three million patients annually. NAPA is a clinician-led, clinically focused, single-specialty organization dedicated to the provision of high-quality anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative care.
Within American Anesthesiology, we have a sister practice and partners for pain management in Wake County, NC., Carolina Pain and Spine (CPS). Carolina Pain and Spine’s physicians are double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and have expertise in all interventional therapies to treat spinal and non-spinal pain syndromes. Carolina Pain & Spine is the only pain specialty practice that all three major hospitals in Raleigh have approved for their inpatient and outpatient care. CPS has 2 locations in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
