Biographical Information:

Dr. Costello is from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. From there he went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and remains a Cavalier fan to this day. He went on to complete a Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School followed by his Medical Doctorate. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at West Virginia University and then completed his fellowship in pain management at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He went on to private practice for two years in Newport News, Virginia prior to joining Southeast Pain & Spine Care in 2016. He currently sees patients at our CMC Main and Denver clinics. He is truly touched whenever his patients’ lives are made better by what we do. The ability to have a doctor-patient relationship is what led him to choose this field over anesthesiology.

In his spare time, he is an avid exerciser and a professional at playing golf without ever actually improving his golf game. He has both a son and a daughter who are his greatest joy and motivation. He is also an avid dog lover with 2 rescues.
