Southeast Pain and Spine Care Medical Director – Jon-David Hoppenfeld, MD

Dr. Hoppenfeld is a graduate of the Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency training at NYU and did a fellowship in interventional Pain Management at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Beth Israel Campus in NYC. He is board certified in Pain Management and Neurology and serves as Medical Director for Southeast Pain and Spine Care in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Hoppenfeld lectures on interventional pain management and is a published author. His most recent book is titled “Fundamentals of Pain Medicine, How to Diagnose and Treat Your Patients”, 2014. He is also a medical advisor for Golf Digest.

Practice Director – Southeast Pain & Spine Care – Robin Y. Amos, RT-R, MSML

A native of North Carolina, Robin Amos has served as the Practice Director for Southeast Pain and Spine Care for 3 years. With over 25 years in healthcare, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice’s clinical and business operations. Prior to joining SEPSC she served in various clinical and non clinical leadership roles with Novant Health and most recently as Administrator of Mallard Creek Surgery Center, an ASC owned by OrthoCarolina.

Robin received her Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology from Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem with an additional year of studies in Cardiac Catheterization at Wake Forest Bowman Gray School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration from Gardner-Web University and her Master’s degree from Montreat College.
