Biographical Information:

Dr. Giugliano is a western Maryland native who completed medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed both neurology residency and comprehensive pain and spine fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health.  Her neurology residency provided her with a strong foundation in neurological anatomy and diagnoses, but she finds being a comprehensive pain physician even more rewarding.  She enjoys the relationships she is able to build with patients: identifying the causes of patients’ pain, creating a stepwise plan for treatment, and continuing to be there if their chronic pain journey proves to be difficult. Fitness and longevity have always been an important focus for her, and she believes strongly in helping people return to living their most active, full life.  She is committed to achieving this goal with the safest, new techniques in interventional pain.

In her spare time, Dr. Giugliano enjoys being outdoors, watching sports (especially football- Go Steelers!), cooking, and traveling. You can find her hiking or on Lake Norman with her fiancé and their Labrador, Cam J. She is also currently working on developing her golf game.
